Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Small files stored by a website in your browser that let it recognize your device.

Your browser stores a cookie, a compact data file, and sends it back to Gatineau Casino each time you return. Local storage, pixels and other technologies that operate in a similar manner are covered by this page as well. Session cookies are deleted once your session ends; the rest stay stored until their preset expiry or until you clear them.

Do third parties set cookies on your site?

Yes, a limited number of trusted partners do.

When you use our Lobby, Live Casino or cashier, cookies may be set by game suppliers, payment services, analytics tools and advertising partners. Each of these partners processes that data according to its own privacy policy, and we select partners that meet Canadian privacy standards.

Which cookies are strictly necessary?

The ones that keep you logged in and your account secure.

They manage login sessions, protect the cashier, support geolocation checks and help detect fraud. The site cannot operate without them, so they stay active whatever optional settings you choose.

Can I control cookies or turn them off?

Use our cookie banner or your browser settings.

A banner appears when you open our pages initially, letting you pick, category by category, which optional cookies to permit, and you can revisit those choices whenever you like in our cookie settings. Browser controls offer another route to refuse or wipe cookies, though turning off strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and payments.

What do marketing cookies do?

They tailor the offers you see, and only run with your consent.

Marketing cookies show whether a visit came from a partner site and help us present relevant Promotions. They stay off unless you accept them, and they are never used for players under self-exclusion.

What do functional cookies do?

They keep your settings in place between visits.

Functional cookies store choices such as language, recently played games and display options in the Lobby. Refusing them means you set these choices again each visit.

What do analytics cookies do?

They show us which pages and games players use, so we can improve the site.

These analytics cookies record visit numbers, page loading speed and which sections attract traffic. The data is grouped in aggregate, not tied to your name, and we place these cookies only when you agree.

Will this policy change?

Yes, when our cookies or the law change.

This page is revised whenever our cookie list changes or Canadian regulations call for an update. Where a change affects optional cookies, we will ask for your consent a second time. Send any questions by email to [email protected].
